We had a strong weekend at the August 15–16 show in Gray Summit, with 22 adult Maine Coons competing.

Wicklow — #113

Wicklow earned:

• 2 × 1st Best of Breed

• 2 × 2nd Best of Breed

• 1 × 3rd Best of Breed

He continues to get more comfortable in the show hall, and it was great to see him recognized in such a large adult class.

Millie — #121

Millie matched Wicklow’s breed results exactly:

• 2 × 1st Best of Breed

• 2 × 2nd Best of Breed

• 1 × 3rd Best of Breed

Five breed placements each made for a pretty even weekend between the two of them.

Kenny

Kenny competed in the polydactyl class. On Saturday, there was only one other polydactyl Maine Coon, and on Sunday there were two others, so his breed placements were somewhat dictated by the small class size.

He received:

• 2nd Best of Breed in every ring on Saturday

• 3rd Best of Breed in every ring on Sunday

Even with a smaller class, the competition was very strong, and it was a good opportunity to see how Kenny compared against other quality polydactyl Maine Coons.

Overall, it was a solid weekend for Wicklow, Millie, and Kenny, and we came home with some great results and good feedback.
