How Much Are Your Kittens?

Our Maine Coon kittens are priced based on color and traits, not gender.

  • Standard Kittens: $2,800

  • Black, Blue, Red, or Tortie Smoke/Silver Kittens: $3,000

  • Polydactyl Kittens: $3,500 (regardless of color)

Pricing is the same for both male and female kittens.

To reserve a kitten, we require a $500 non-refundable reservation fee, which is applied toward the purchase price of your kitten.

Before placing a reservation, we encourage you to carefully review our Terms of Sale to ensure that our cattery and policies are the right fit for your family.

Our Adoption Process

At Lynx Town Maine Coons, our kittens are family first and foremost—they are our babies. Every prospective family is required to complete an Adoption Application before being considered for one of our kittens.

We take our vetting process very seriously and carefully review each application to ensure that every kitten is placed in a loving, safe, and appropriate forever home. Finding the right match for both the kitten and the family is our top priority.

Pricing & Discounts

Our kitten prices are firm and non-negotiable. We believe our pricing reflects the extensive health testing, quality care, nutrition, socialization, and dedication that goes into responsibly raising our kittens.

However, we do offer a multiple-kitten discount when two or more kittens are purchased by the same family and will be living together in the same home. We firmly believe that kittens thrive with a feline companion and love seeing our babies grow up together.

I don't live nearby, how will I acquire my new kitten?

If you live outside our location, don't fret! We are happy to meet you at the Kansas City International Airport. We will work with you on all the details.  We may also recommend a cat courier for you.  Generally their fees are very reasonable which will be in addition to their airfare. You may work with the courier directly or for a small fee we can contact them for you and make all the arrangements.

What is included in the price of the kitten?

  • Weekly pictures and videos of your kitten up until gotcha day.

  • Vet examination

  • Age appropriate vaccines and deworming - we do not vaccinate for FeLV. All of our cats are FeLV negative and your kitten will be tested prior to go home date.

  • Microchipping

  • TICA &/or CFA Registration paperwork if requested

  • Spay or Neuter of your new kitten (we do not sell kittens for breeding at this time)

  • FREE thirty days health insurance through Trupanion

What do you feed your kittens? 

  • Our adult cats diet consists of an in-home prepared raw diet or Viva Raw.

  • Our kittens and pregnant and/or nursing Queens diet consists of Instinct brand kitten food and an in-home raw diet. We occasionally use Tiki Cat, Weruva and Orijen brands.

  • Raw diet consists of skinless chicken thighs, chicken gizzards, beef or chicken heart, beef or chicken liver, salmon oil, bone meal, water and Kitty Bloom powder. All raw food is prepared with intentional care for a proper sanitary environment. 

  • Both adults and kittens diet also consists of FortiFlora probiotic packets twice a week for digestive health.

  • OCCASIONAL treats consist of Churu packs and Temptations treats.

🐾 Litter Box Setup at Lynx Town Maine Coons

Our kittens are raised using three different litter box systems, which helps them become adaptable and transition easily into their new homes.

Our Litter Systems

     • Tidy Cats Breeze XL System – Our personal favorite! The pellets and pads make cleanup simple and help reduce tracking and odors.

     • Litter-Robot – Our kittens are accustomed to automatic litter boxes and generally adapt very well to them.

     • Traditional Litter Boxes – We use multipurpose tubs from Menards as litter boxes. They are a very cost-effective option and provide the larger size and extra space that the Maine Coon breed appreciates.

Litters We Use

     • Tofu Litter – Used in our traditional litter boxes. It's low-dust, gentle on little paws, and environmentally friendly.

     • Sustainably Yours – Used in our Litter-Robots. While we no longer use it exclusively throughout the cattery, we still believe it is an excellent         litter with outstanding clumping ability and odor control.

Easy Refills

Refills and supplies for all of these systems—including Breeze pellets and pads, tofu litter, and Sustainably Yours litter—are conveniently available through Amazon.

Our recommendation: Whatever system you choose at home, try to keep it consistent during your kitten's first few weeks. Because our kittens have been exposed to multiple litter box styles and litters, they are typically very adaptable and transition beautifully into their new homes. 🩶🐾
