Welcome to Lynx Town Maine Coons
Founded in 2023, Lynx Town Maine Coons is a small, family-run cattery nestled in the charming town of Hughesville, Missouri. I'm Carolyn, and I honestly can't remember a time when I didn’t have a cat I loved and considered part of my family.

My journey into breeding Maine Coons began with my deep admiration for the breed’s majestic nature. The name "Lynx Town" is a tribute to my very first Queen, CFA Champion Gypsy Sapphire, whose wild, Lynx-like features—those adorably feral ears and face—captivated me.

At Lynx Town, I believe in creating a breeding program built on love, trust, and responsibility. It's essential for me to find breeders who treat their cats like family, and I aim to offer that same peace of mind to you as you welcome a Lynx Town Maine Coon kitten into your home.

Health, conformation, and ethical breeding practices are the core values of our program. I am deeply committed to ensuring our kittens are raised in a safe, nurturing environment, where they are spoiled, socialized, and ready for their new families.

All our Kings and Queens undergo DNA health testing through Optimal Selection/Wisdom Panel. At one year of age, they receive an echocardiogram to ensure optimal heart health. Our cats are raised in our home, interacting with us daily to ensure they are well-socialized and prepared for family life.

Additionally, we are proud to participate in cat shows with TICA and CFA, showcasing our commitment to the breed.
