Echocardiogram Day was a success!

Rembrandt, Halo and Syrah all behaved well for their first HCM screening this month.

HCM, "Hypertropic Cardio Myopathy" in short, is the thickening of the heart wall that can cause a cat to go into cardiac arrest due to the lack of efficiency in blood flow.

The long version can be found here: What is HCM?

It is recommended that cats/kittens be tested at 1 year (or thereabouts) and annually after.

All of our tests came out NORMAL which is what we wanted to see. :)
